Got this for my hubby who is a huge jr. fan. Drove from Louisiana to Branson with it. On the plus side, it was nice to hear Jr.’s voice. Specific probs: Had probs finding our location! Honestly, it didn’t know where we were! On two occasions, it took us on a wild goose chase only to put us right back where we started from – so basically ran us in a circle for about 30 mins each time. Twice on the interstate, it was telling us to “hang a left here”. In the middle of the interstate. Very frustrating. We own a TomTom but had loaned it to the kids as were traveling to separate destinations and we bought this one for us. Doesn’t compare to Tom. We so wanted to like this product b/c it’s a great concept, but it’s going back!

I like this GPS. Good thing it talks because it lays on the passenger seat. The suction cup mount broke after a week of extremely careful use. I registered the product and e-mailed the RightWay customer support about this, that it broke way too easy given the limited use and extreme care in handling it. I wish I could say the response was lousy, but it was worse than that. After three e-mails and no response, I bought my own mount which has been working fine for about a month now.

If you plan on buying this GPS, be prepared to include another $25 or so to the final price tag to cover the cost of a new mount. I truly hate companies like this.

I’ve used a friends Nuvi simultaniusly with the Dale Jr and the Nuvi was way off – had me heading down dead end roads into the lake! The Dale Jr GPS gave me right on directions. I love it! I’m on the road a lot and usually alone so it has been a life saver. The screen is the right size and it’s small and light weight. Beats the Garmin Nuvi for me!

It’s what I thought I was getting and shipped when they said. Very satisfied with the purchase.
