<description>I bought this GPS unit and had problems getting the bluetooth to work. I downloaded the software upgrade from Pharos along with a few updated maps and it then worked flawlessly. Quick start-up and great software. I am using it with a Dell Axim X51V and have had it for about one month with no problems. I would recommend this unit to anyone who has a compatiable PDA.

<description>The GPS receiver works quite well and has a range far beyond the expected 10 meters. I have used it with my laptop (which was in the house running MS Streets &amp; Trips) and taken the receiver outside to my back yard (about 60-70 feet through walls and such) and it still was connected to my laptop. The software is a little confusing and somewhat difficult to use. This is mainly because to make it fit on a handheld device they had to divide the maps in to little pieces, about one state each. It can only have three maps active at a time and you must change maps if you pass the edge. I haven&#039;t tried other products of this type but I do like this one.
