I upgraded to the Navigon 2200T from a Tom Tom One. I was very disapointed to find that the device did not come with a manual, a USB cable or clear start-up directions. The web-site and support on line or not very user friendly. But I have not yet put it to the traffic test.

I was driving on a major street when the GPS told me to turn onto the same street I was driving on more than 1 occassion. It stated the streets to turn on after you passed the street. A real nightmare.

I’ve never owned a GPS before and was very excited when I seen the NAvigon 2200T on sale. i used my Christmas money to buy it and when it came in I quickly tried to get everything going, at first I thought because it never acquired a signal for the satellite after 20 minutes that I had to go online and put in some kind of code. But unfortunately I read the reviews after I had purchased this product and found out that just about everyone was having to wait that much time or more. The next day it took about 16 mins to acquire the signal so I was happy but ont he days it was cloudy, after 35 minutes driving to work still no signal. I waited to long to return it and now I’m stuck with a GPS I’m very dissatisfied with, would be afraid to rely on it to go somewhere. I wouldnt dare sell it to anyone out of pure guilt, I do not know how Amazon is still selling this product. I had borrowed a Garmin once before purchasing this one and I should have put in the extra money to get a great GPS. DON’T BUY THIS GPS, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

I had the 2200T in my cart and just before purchasing compared it to the price of the 7200T (same Amazon website). The difference was so small I jumped at the 7200T instead for the extra features including the larger screen and Bluetooth, among other things. Either one is a best bet. You can see reading some of the bad reviews of the newer Garmin Nuvis, which I looked at initially. The routing is much better on these newer Navigons. They corrected many of the minor problems from last year’s models, and the

unit operates much quicker also. Navigon has been making in dash navigation systems since 1991, so they are not new in the industry.
