You don’t need to buy this.
My husband bought the Garmin, and paid a lot more money that Amazon has it for. I, however, just downloaded Navigator to my Verizon cell phone…I love it.

Good unit but low volume
This is my second Garmin. I purchased this model for the speech recognition feature. I works fairly well but does take a little getting used to. I really like the larger screen.

Gramin 855 GPS review
This is a great GPS. I bought it because of the large screen size for hiking even
though there are some serious shortcomings for this use.
1) battery life is only 3.

Just OK, a couple big flaws but no worse than other brands
Overall, the thing works. When you consider what an amazing thing any GPS is, the complaints seem small, but here they are:

Major features absent, broken or crippled
The feature I bought this GPS unit for is a fraud. They advertise everywhere that this unit has lane guidance and junction view but it does not have it for Seattle.
