My first problem was with Amazon who copped a “not our problem” deal with me when a concern did arise. Then the Garmin was defective and I returned it which was the second lousy experience with all the aggravation entailed. finally those lovely folks charged me a large restocking fee for a unit that in fact was defective. The net result was I will probably never buy from or through Amazon again and perhaps not online again. I will go to local shops and malls for all my future purchases of anything. Public beware!!!

Love my GPS! Received it fairly quickly and brand new. Still using and learning the function of the unit. So far, excellent.

I ordered from Amazon on Wednesday and received product on Saturday. Excellent service from Amazon. Please with the price (about $60 cheaper than Wal-mart and no sales tax). Very pleased with the speedy service.
I must admit that I have never owned nor used any type of GPS unit so I have nothing to compare it to. But it was so simple and easy to use. I was able to use it right out of the box without reading any directions. We have used it for 2 days now and everything is great. The driving directions (that we have used so far) and been perfect and right on target. Even my non-techie husband was able to use it and play with it easily!
It was a great buy and I don’t think you will be sorry you purchased it!!

I ordered this product based on what my needs were and was VERY excited to receive it. Actually, I just received it about one hour ago. When I picked up the UPS box, i felt something was loose inside. I opened it up and took out the Garmin box. I opened up THAT box and I found the unit laying LOOSE (!) inside the box (who knows how many times it was bounced around) and no owners manuals. I called Amazon and the gave me the cliche answer that I would have to return it and have them send me another one. I am too busy to go through that charade plus I needed the unit ASAP. Then, I plug in the unit so I can register it and it is telling me that I am out of memory!!!! I am just totally frustrated, I feel the money that I saved (over what I would have paid at a real store) is not worth it because I am getting a lesser product and customer service. So, after 45+ minutes of wasting my time with “Customer Service” I got frustrated and I am sending the unit back and will NEVER buy anything electronic from this place. And Garmin should be ashamed to not include a wall charger with their units, not even a soft case. I returned a TomTom 730 because I thought the Garmin would have been a better deal, but no way. Going back to TomTom and buying from a store where I can talk to a human being.
